Located on the main GT Road, Unit-1 was established in 1994 with a CSD RGB 600 bpm line for manufacturing carbonated soft drinks, including Coca-Cola, Limca, Thums Up, Sprite, Fanta, and Kinley Soda. Over time, we expanded our capabilities by installing an RGB juice line to produce Maaza.
In 2017, we further enhanced our production capacity by introducing a 125 bpm Tetra Pak line for manufacturing juices under the Minute Maid and Maaza brands in small Tetra Paks. Continuing our growth, in 2022, we added a 440 ppm Tetra Pak line to meet the increasing regional demand for small Tetra Paks, producing 150ml Maaza and Minute Maid products.
With continuous expansion and innovation, Unit-1 remains a cornerstone of our production excellence, catering to the evolving preferences of consumers with a diverse beverage portfolio.
To meet the growing demand for packaged drinking water in our territory, we established a greenfield project in 2003 in Village Jaspalon near Doraha, Ludhiana. Operations began with a 120 BPM production line dedicated to manufacturing packaged drinking water under the Kinley brand.
Recognizing the rising demand for carbonated soft drinks in PET, we expanded in 2016 with a 450 BPM CSD PET line capable of producing all sparkling brands in the Coca-Cola India portfolio. Further strengthening our capacity, we introduced a state-of-the-art 500 BPM CSD Krones line in 2022 to meet the evolving needs of the industry and market. Additionally, in the same year, we installed a 120 BPM packaged drinking water line for our premium product, Smartwater.
With these advancements, we continue to set new benchmarks in quality and efficiency, ensuring a diverse range of beverages to meet evolving market needs.
Located near Village Mehlanwali on the main Hoshiarpur-Una Road and spread across 35 acres, LBPL’s largest greenfield project was established in 2019. Unit-4 is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery from leading Coca-Cola-approved suppliers, featuring PET production lines for CSD (666 BPM), Nitro Hot Fill Juice (400 BPM), and Packaged Drinking Water (470 BPM). These lines manufacture a wide range of Coca-Cola products in various pack sizes and flavors.
In 2023, embracing the challenge of delivering freshness, we introduced an additional PET line (ASSP) with a capacity of 766 BPM. This line produces a variety of Coca-Cola products, including Coke, Limca, Fanta, Thums Up, and Sprite, in a single 250ml pack. In 2024, we successfully completed the installation and validation of a new aseptic line for high-acid products with a capacity of 600 BPM. Additionally, we have now installed in 2025 a new CAN sparkling line with a capacity of 600 CPM.
To enhance self-sufficiency and maintain greater control over a key raw material used in all PET packs, we also incorporated two 72-cavity HUSKY Preform lines, capable of producing 13.5 tons of preforms daily.
With these advancements, Unit-4 stands as a testament to LBPL’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and meeting the evolving demands of the market with world-class manufacturing capabilities.
